Building a Beautiful Website for an Olive Oil

The story of the "Paleokypou Agricultural Olive Cooperative" began in 1922 when a group of creative people from Paleokypou, in an effort to stop their economic exploitation by various private businessmen and merchants of the time, decided to create the first agricultural cooperative of Paleokypou, with the first main activity being the creation of an olive mill and warehouse, for the production and storage of olive oil.

In order to strengthen its presence in the market and reach a wider audience, the Cooperative commissioned us to create a comprehensive branding strategy and implement a modern website.

Next, the label was implemented, which is the main point of contact for the consumer with the product. The label is informative, clearly bears the product details and certifications.

The use of a black background with gold details was chosen to emphasize the luxury and authenticity of the olive oil. For the complete presentation of the product, a 3D representation of the bottle and label was implemented.

The website was implemented on the Drupal 10 CMS, is user-friendly and offers information about the olive oil, the history of the Cooperative, the production process and the area. The website is also available in English to reach an international audience.

• Interactive Design: We used animated elements that follow the cursor movement, bringing the website to life and making navigation more enjoyable.
• S.E.O. Analysis: We made sure the website was optimized for search engines, so that it was easily found by users searching for high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
• Accessibility for All: We made sure the website was accessible to people with disabilities, taking into account modern specifications and accessibility standards.
• Easy Management: Website management is made easy with Inline Editing and Paragraphs in Drupal, offering the ability to create different layouts for the needs of each page.
• Ongoing Support: We provide the Cooperative with training and support for managing the website and social media, so that it can maintain an active and up-to-date online presence.

Result

We are proud of the work we have done for the Agricultural Olive Cooperative of Paleokypou, Lesvos. The creation of a strong brand and a modern website has helped the Agricultural Olive Cooperative of Paleokypou, Lesvos to increase the recognition of Iera Gold and reach a wider audience.
